Bihoro Pass, there is a panorama of Lake Kussharo

I dropped by Bihoro Pass while traveling by car at work today. The cloudy sky was spreading and the view was one more, but the scenery of Lake Kussharo and the mountains was lovely.

I'd like to stop by again, on a clear blue sky day. I love Hokkaido in nature.

It was opened in 1920 (9th year of Taisho). It is located in Akan National Park, under the eyes there is a panorama of Lake Kussharo which is the largest volcanic lake in Japan (Caldera Lake), and is also a scenic spot overlooking the mountains of Akan.
Bihoro Pass is an altitude of 525 m above the caldera's outer rim on the western border of the Kussharo lake, which has a scale of 29 km east to west and 20 km north to south.
